An ally of the Minister of Transportation, Rt.Hon Chibuike Amaechi, and former spokesman of the defunct New Peoples Democratic Party (nPDP), Chief Eze Chukwuemeka Eze, has dismissed recent media report ascribing a statement of regret to the Minister of Transportation, Chibuike Rotimi Amaechi, as ‘fake news’.
Chief Eze, who reacted through a statement he personally signed and circulated to the newsmen on Monday to the report with the title “No Serious Party Has Approached Me Yet”, saying that the authors of the fake, malicious, ill-conceived and concocted piece were actually targeting the cordial and respectful relationship between the Minister of Transportation, Rt. Hon. Chibuike Amaechi and President Muhammadu Buhari.
In the purported false, mischievous, ill-conceived and improbable concoction said to have emanated from devious and demented minds, Chief Eze said that those behind it had claimed that the Honourable Minister regretted his support for the governing party and purportedly said that he would have probably defected if any political party had approached him.
Chief Eze urged those behind such spurious propaganda to look for better works to do. He used the opportunity to highlight the major projects the Ministry of Transport had completed under the leadership of Rt.Hon.Chibuike Amaechi.
