Chief Solomon Aguene Praises Senator David Umahi For Transformation Of Ebonyi State

Former President of Ohanaeze Ndigbo, Lagos State, Chief Solomon Aguene, has praised the Honourable Minister of Works, Senator David Umahi, for the transformation of infrastructure in Ebonyi State. He described the development under Umahi’s leadership as remarkable and unprecedented.

 

Chief Aguene stated this during a recent visit to Ebonyi State, where he observed the level of road construction and urban development across the state. He noted that the changes were visible in both urban and rural areas.

 

He stated that whenever he visits Ebonyi State, he is reminded of the good works Chief Umahi has done for the people of Ebonyi State.

 

The Ohanaeze chieftain said all inner roads he accessed during the visit had been tarred and were in motorable condition. He noted that the development had improved movement and reduced travel stress for residents.

 

Chief Aguene recalled that in the past, driving on Ebonyi roads often left vehicles covered in dust. He stated that the current condition of the roads reflects a clear upgrade, as the routes he traveled were tarred and require maintenance.

 

He commended Senator Umahi for demonstrating strong leadership capacity in managing infrastructure projects. Chief Aguene noted that the performance recorded in Ebonyi State showed capacity for effective governance.

 

The former Ohanaeze President stated that if Senator Umahi were to contest for the presidency of Nigeria in the future, he would mobilize support for him. He added that Umahi’s track record in Ebonyi reflected the kind of leadership Nigeria needs.

 

Chief Aguene also referenced the ongoing Lagos-Calabar Coastal Road project, which is under the supervision of the Ministry of Works. He noted that Umahi’s handling of the project demonstrates capacity to deliver on major national assignments.

 

According to him, the Minister’s approach to work reflects readiness to perform at any time and under any condition. He described Umahi’s delivery style as proactive and results-driven.
