The Centre for Human and Socio-economic Rights, CHSR, has commiserated with the Federal Government, Nigerian Army and the immediate family of Chief Of Army Staff, Lt Gen Taoreed Lagbaja, over his death.
P.M.EXPRESS reports that the message was contained in a press release signed by their National President, Comrade Alex Omotehinse, in Lagos State.
Part of the release stated:
“We urge the Nigerian Army to see the death of the Army Chief as a resolve to win the fight against insurgency and other associated vices plaguing Nigeria.”
“It is our strong believe that Lt. Gen Taoreed Lagbaja during his lifetime was committed to getting rid of the criminal elements in Nigeria. Indeed, Lagbaja left an indelible mark on the sand of times.”
