Head Coach of Maiden Stars Sports Academy,(MSSA ) of Isolo, Adewale Adejare has expressed profound gratitude to parents, guardians, coaches and other football stakeholders who attended end of the year football fiesta of the academy which held recently at the Isolo youth sports center, Ile-Iwe Meta, Isolo, Lagos.
Adejare popularly known as coach Skenchi while speaking with our correspondent thanked God for the success of the soccer fiesta.
He particularly commended the parents, guardians and members of Lagos State Football Coaches Association for their support given him to make the one day soccer fiesta a memorable one.
“What can I say than to thank our parents, guardians, coaches and other football stakeholders for taking their tight schedule to honour our programme.I cannot thank them enough because their presence made this programme recorded a tremendous success and the players were happy to see their parents and coaches in attendance watching them playing.
“This is a day programme that put together by my humbled self and for me to see executive members of Lagos State Football Coaches Association in my programme, it gives me joy and satisfaction and I believe that the next edition would be better than this,”he said.
Rising Stars Football Academy defeated MSSA Academy 4-2 to emerge champions of the soccer fiesta.
Rising Stars boss,Latest Ishola said it was a well organised football fiesta and congratulated his boys for emerged the champions.
Meanwhile in the presentation award, Flora Adeyanju won the player of the year, while Gabriel Itodo also won best goalkeeper of the year as Mr Salami emerged as the best parent of the year.
