Commendations As Senator Ekwunife Commences Construction Of Block Of Three Classrooms

The Senator representing Anambra Central Senatorial District, Senator Uche Ekwunife (Iyom), has embarked on construction of block of three classrooms at Central Primary School Mbaukwu in Awka South Local Government Area of Anambra State.

Senator Ekwunife was represented at the project flag off by the Zonal Project Monitoring committee led by the former commissioner for women affairs Anambra State, Lady Henrietta Agbata on Monday, 30th November 2020. The team which has the mandate to supervise and monitor projects in Anambra Central to ensure quality and speedy completion was received by the Venerable in charge of the school, Ven. D. C. Ezeobi and the Head Teacher of the school, Mrs. Florence Ndibe.

Speaking during the visitation, Ven. Ezeobi expressed gratitude to the Senator for facilitating such a laudable project. He noted that His Lordship, Most Rev Dr Alex Ibezim, the Archbishop Province of the Niger and Bishop of Awka Diocese received the project with joy. Speaking further, Ven Ezeobi prayed God to reward the Senator abundantly and grant her success in all her endeavours.

On her part, the Head Teacher of the school, Mrs Florence Ndibe who could not contain her joy, described the project as vital. She thanked the Senator for siting the project in the primary school and prayed God to grant her her heart desires.

In their separate remarks, the Awka South PDP Chairman, Barr. Emma Odum and PDP Woman Leader Mbaukwu Ward, Mrs Angela Ibezim described the Senator as a true representative of the people. They praised her for ensuring that each community in the Senatorial District feels the impact of her representation.

Also in the delegation were, the Former Accountant General of Anambra State, Mrs Helen Nwaeri, the Former Chairman of ASUBEB, Dr Rose Nwankwo and the Project Manager Anambra Central Liaison Office, Mrs Ifeyinwa Chinwuko.

Others present include, the PDP Chairman Mbaukwu Ward, Mr Clement Anogbulu, Youth Leader Mbaukwu Ward, Augustine Okafor, and others.
