The Lagos State Commissioner for Establishment, Training and Pensions, Mrs. Ajibola Ponnle, has charged officials of the Ministry to remain committed and diligent in the discharge of their duties.
Ponnle, while addressing Management Staff recently, urged them to align with the T.H.E.M.E.S Agenda of the present administration by adhering to the Key Performance Indicators (KPIs) put in place to reposition the civil service as the engine that will achieve the Greater Lagos agenda.
She implored staffers to work diligently and exhibit good behaviour towards improving the image and perception of the civil service, restating the resolve of the Ministry to enhance capacity development in line with generic and specific competencies.
Also speaking at the gathering, the Permanent Secretary, Office of Establishments and Training, Mr. Abiodun Bamgboye, commended the staff for a job well done in the previous year, encouraging them to birth new ideas that will improve the Ministry’s task towards achieving the laudable programmes and policies of the present administration.
On his part, the Permanent Secretary, Civil Service Pension Office, Mr.Timothy Ogunnubi noted that among the changes that will take effect in the New Year is the automation of processes, work schedules and improvement of service delivery.
He, however, assured all members of staff that the necessary tools needed to perform effectively will be put in place to ensure timely take-off and enhance the ease of doing business.
