The call for the appointment of Abdulhakeem Adegoke Alawuje to a high-ranking position on one of Nigeria’s prestigious boards is gaining significant momentum, and for good reason.
Comrade Abdulhakeem Adegoke Alawuje, the esteemed National President of the Disciples of Jagaban and founder of the Yoruba Welfare Group, is a beacon of exceptional leadership and unwavering dedication.

A Yoruba man with a remarkable history of community involvement, Comrade Alawuje’s impact extends beyond his cultural roots. He has spent significant years of his life in the North, particularly in Kaduna, building strong alliances and friendships that span regional boundaries. These cross-cultural connections allowed him to rally substantial support from Northern allies and friends, showcasing his ability to bridge divides for a united cause.

His creation of the Yoruba Welfare Group, alongside the Disciples of Jagaban, exemplifies his commitment to holistic development. This innovative approach recognizes the need for complementary efforts to address a wide range of societal issues. Comrade Alawuje’s dynamic leadership showcases his ability to foster collaboration and implement diverse strategies that resonate with a variety of audiences.

In Kaduna, the opening of the Disciples of Jagaban was marked by the presence of dignitaries, including former Generals, technocrats and and ranking public officers including Senator Saleh of Kaduna. That alone underlined the respect and credibility Comrade Alawuje commands within his networks, transcending political and military circles. His strategic stakeholders’ meetings held across the Southwestern states, Lagos, and Abuja further underscore his commitment to broad-based engagement.

The Disciples of Jagaban, under Mr. Alawuje’s guidance, conducted a full-scale nationwide campaign in support of President Tinubu and VP Shettima. This dedicated effort, fueled by Mr. Alawuje’s personal funding that even involved selling properties, reflects his unwavering belief in their vision for the country’s future. Members of the group are united in their appreciation of President Tinubu’s economic strategies, foreseeing a brighter trajectory despite the present challenges.

As the nation embarks on a renewed hope agenda, the need for visionary leaders like comrade Alawuje cannot be overstated. His deep understanding of diverse communities, his ability to mobilize support, and his commitment to progress makes him an invaluable asset for the nation’s development.

In light of these exceptional qualities and his unwavering dedication, we strongly advocate for the appointment of Abdulhakeem Adegoke Alawuje to a high-ranking board position. This move would not only honour his past contributions but also harness his potential to drive positive change on a national scale.
