The Executive Chairman of Ikeja Local Government, Comrade Akeem Olalekan Dauda (AKOD), has invited residents, community leaders, schools, corporate organisations, and other stakeholders to participate in the 2026 Lagos State Tree Planting Exercise.

The exercise is scheduled for Tuesday, July 14, 2026, at 10:00 a.m. at Ikeja Under Bridge.

With the theme *“Trees for Lagos: Our City, Our Responsibility,”* the exercise is aimed at promoting environmental sustainability, combating climate change, and encouraging residents to take collective responsibility for a greener and healthier environment.

Comrade Dauda noted that the initiative aligns with the environmental sustainability goals of the I.K.E.J.A. Agenda and urged all residents to join hands in building a cleaner, greener, and more resilient Ikeja.
