ADEOLA OGUNLADE
The Executive Chairman of Ikeja Local Government, Hon. Akeem Olalekan Dauda (AKOD), is currently leading members of the council’s executive team, staff and legislators in the Lagos State Monthly Sanitation Exercise across various wards in Ikeja.
Leading from the front, the Chairman joined the council team in clearing blocked drainage channels, removing refuse and cleaning public spaces, in collaboration with sanitation personnel and other relevant stakeholders.
The exercise underscores the Comrade Dauda administration’s strong commitment to environmental cleanliness, public health and the promotion of responsible citizenship across Ikeja. The Council Chairman’s direct participation further reinforces the administration’s belief that effective leadership requires active engagement and personal commitment to issues that directly affect the wellbeing of residents.
