The Executive Chairman of Ikeja Local Government, Comrade Akeem Olalekan Dauda (AKOD), has called on members of the All Progressives Congress (APC) to close ranks, embrace reconciliation, and work collectively towards the success of President Bola Ahmed Tinubu and the Member representing Ikeja Federal Constituency in the House of Representatives, Hon. Dr James Abiodun Faleke, as preparations gather momentum for the official flag-off of the Tinubu/Faleke Campaign in Ikeja.
Comrade Dauda made the call during the inauguration of the Tinubu/Faleke Campaign Committee held at the Lagos Airport Hotel, Ikeja, which brought together APC leaders, elected officials, party executives and supporters from across the constituency.
The event was attended by Hon. Dr James Faleke, the Executive Chairmen of Ojodu and Onigbongbo Local Council Development Areas, Hon. Segun Odunmbaku and Hon. Moyosore Adebanjo, respectively, alongside other prominent party leaders and stakeholders.
He disclosed that the official campaign would commence on August 19, expressing confidence that the APC would present a united front throughout the campaign period.
