The Executive Chairman of Ikeja Local Government, Comrade Akeem Olalekan Dauda (AKOD), has intensified mobilization efforts across Ikeja Local Government Area in support of President Bola Ahmed Tinubu GCFR ahead of the All Progressives Congress (APC) Presidential Primary Election.
Speaking from his Ikeja House office, Comrade Dauda described Ikeja Local Government as the political base and local government of President Bola Ahmed Tinubu, stressing that the people of Ikeja remain proud and firmly committed to the re-election bid of the President.
The Ikeja LG Boss reiterated that many of the developmental strides recorded by his administration at the grassroots level were made possible through President Tinubu’s bold decision to champion Local Government Financial Autonomy as well as the significant increase in monthly allocations to local governments across the country.
According to him, the improved financial capacity has enabled local government authorities to execute impactful projects, strengthen service delivery and bring governance closer to the people.
On this basis, Comrade Dauda called on all party faithful, stakeholders, youths and women groups within Ikeja LGA to remain united and fully mobilized in support of President Tinubu and the Renewed Hope Agenda.
He further assured that Ikeja APC members would continue to stand solidly behind the President in appreciation of his visionary leadership, democratic credentials and commitment to national development.
