Osun Progressive Youths under the aegis of Congress of Progressive Youth (COPY) have expressed heartfelt gratitude to the immediate past Governor of Osun State and current Minister of Marine and Blue Economy, His Excellency, Alhaji Isiaka Gboyega Oyetola, for being instrumental to facilitating the appointment of no fewer than twenty two indegenes of the State at the Federal level.
The Osun indigenes had earlier been appointed into the Federal agencies by President Bola Ahmed Tinubu few months ago, adding that President Tinubu through Alhaji Oyetola had deemed it fit to appoint another Twenty-Two (22) indigenes of the State into the various Boards of Governing Councils of different higher institutions across the country in recent days.
The group stated that the significant achievement reflects Alhaji Gboyega Oyetola’s unwavering commitment to advancing the cause of the educational sector of the land by ensuring that dedicated and capable indegenes of the State were given opportunities to contribute to the growth and development of these various institutions.
According to the statement signed by the Director General and Secretary, Mr. Aderinto Ibrahim and Comrade Lekan Ibrahim respectively, the group said, “His Excellency, the immediate past Governor of Osun State, Alhaji Gboyega Oyetola, has consistently demonstrated exceptional leadership, team work and dedication to public service. His efforts in supporting these appointments underscore his vision for a stronger, more inclusive, and progressive educational system in one hand and reward for loyalty to the State on the other hand”.
