The fate of Ndieze crowned by the self acclaimed president of Igbo Speaking Community, Chief Sunday Udeh, may be hanging in the balance as the Board of Trustees of the association is set to hold stakeholders meeting to tackle the menace in Lagos State.
P.M.EXPRESS reports that the meeting is slated to hold on Tuesday, 9th July, 2024, at the Igbo Speaking Community headquarters at Anomneze Palace, No. 28 Okanlawon Ajayi Street, Masha Surulere Lagos.
This was disclosed by the Secretary of BOT, High Chief Obinwadigo, through the invitation sighted by P.M.EXPRESS, which was sent to the key stakeholders of Igbo Speaking community, Lagos State.
Those expected to attend the meeting are the immediate former president of Igbo Speaking community and now traditional ruler in the East, Eze Ebere Ubani, who handed over to Chief Sunday Eze as president and was recognized by BOT and Council of Ndieze in Lagos State.
Also billed to attend the event are the authentic Council of Ndieze Lagos State led by Ezendigbo of Ikeja LGA,  Eze James Agbawodike Nwalozie, Executives of Igbo Speaking community led by Chief Sunday Eze, former executives of Igbo Speaking community and key stakeholders of the Igbo Speaking community.
P.M.EXPRESS gathered that Chief Sunday Udeh, who allegedly declared himself President of Igbo Speaking community and had been crowning Ndieze not recognized by BOT was also summoned over his conduct by forming factional Igbo Speaking community and Council of Ndieze in Lagos State.
The meeting scheduled to hold by 12 noon on that day as stated in the invitation which read:
“Attention! Attention!! Attention!!!
“I am directed by the Chairman, Dr Jonathan Nnaji and the entire Board of Trustees of Igbo Speaking Community Lagos  to invite all Executives, Stakeholders and Royal Fathers to a crucial meeting of Igbo Speaking Community Lagos State as slated below:
Date= Tuesday, 09/07/2024.
Venue: Anomneze Palace, Number 28 Okanlawon Ajayi Street, Masha Surulere Lagos.
Time= 12 noon prompt.
Agenda:
1, A reappraisal of our unity as an indivisible Igbo Speaking Community.
2,  Our conscious challenge for an Igbo Speaking Community identity.
3, A need to address the widening division in Igbo Speaking Community Lagos State.
4,. AOB.Please endeavor to be part of this meeting.
Thank you.Signed: High Chief Obinwadigo (Secretary).
Since the invitation was sent out to the stakeholders, there has been apprehension as some of Ndieze crowned by Chief Udeh may have realized that the Council of Ndieze, Lagos State, led by Eze Nwalozie and BOT led Dr Jonathan Nnaji, does not recognize them thereby questioning their claims as Ezendigbo in Lagos State.
The outcome of the the crucial meeting may not be predictable but what is certain is that the BOT has made it clear that any Eze not recognized by BOT and Council of Ndieze led by Eze Nwalozie is not from Igbo Speaking community.
