The Chairman of Council of Ezendigbo in Lagos State, Eze Agbawodikeizu Nwalozie, has congratulated the newly inagurated executives of the Igbo Speaking community led by Chief Sunday Udeh.
P.M.EXPRESS reports that the Council also congratulated the Board of Trustees (BOT) led by Dr Jonathan Nnaji on their efforts in restoring peace in community after several years of crisis.
This was contained in the statement by Eze Nwalozie on behalf of the Council over the inauguration of the executives by the Board of Trustees of the Community led by Dr Nnaji while commending their efforts to bring back peace and unity to the Igbo speaking community Lagos State
Eze Nwalozie, who is also the Ezendigbo of Ikeja, Lagos commended the efforts of the stakeholders including the Council of Ezendigbo, BOT and members of the community, who played various roles in bringing lasting peace to the Igbo Speaking Community, which culminated to the election and inauguration of the new executives.
“On behalf of Council of Ezendigbo in Lagos State, we hereby congratulate the new executive members of the Igbo Speaking Community on the inauguration. We also commend the BOT and Council members for their various roles in restoring peace to the Community.”
Eze Nwalozie expressed the Council’s commitment to support the new executives and urged them to work towards consolidation on the peace so that the community will be stronger and united as it used to be in the past.
He urged the members of the Igbo Speaking Community and indeed Ndigbo to support the new executives because there is a lot of work to be done in the community.
He prayed that God to give the new executives the wisdom and enablement to bring all together for peace, unity and progress of the community.
