The Assistant Inspector General of Police, Zone 2, AIG Ahmed Iiyasu, has commended the Management of GB Foods Africa for presenting palliatives to officers and men of the Nigeria Police Force, Zone 2 Command Headquarters, Onikan, Lagos.
The AIG, who was pleased about the good gesture of the Food Company, received the palliatives which were presented to him in his office.
The Managing Director of the Company, Mr. Vincent Egbe, also accompanied by Alhaji Francis Ogboro, the Strategic Advisor to the company, GB Foods Africa, presented the palliatives which were in form of rice and other condiments, to the Assistant Inspector General of Police in charge of Zone 2 Command, AIG Ahmed Iliyasu, in his office.
The AIG after receiving the palliatives expresses his gratitude to the company and other philanthropists for their humanitarian gesture in line with IGP’s Community Policing strategy and engagement since the commencement of the lockdown orders.
The relief materials will be handed over to the Police officers within the Zone to cushion the effects of the lockdown and take care of the welfare and wellbeing of the Police Officers.
