As the COVID-19 induced lockdown continues across the State, the Lagos Water Corporation, LWC, has urged residents to take full advantage of the Corporation’s new payment channels for water bills, just as it assured residents of improved service delivery.

The Managing Director, LWC, Engr. Muminu Badmus, who made this known in a statement issued recently, said the Corporation has rolled out new Payment Channels for its customers in the State for prompt payments that will facilitate continuous access to potable water supply, especially during this COVID-19 lockdown period.

According to him, “The LWC has rolled out new Payment Channels for the Water Customers in the State to ensure continuous access to potable water supply through an efficient billing and collection system. The new payment system is very convenient and easy to use for the payments of water bills by all customers”.

“This means that our customers now have varieties of payment channel options to choose from and can make payments in the comfort of their homes, particularly, during this lockdown period across the State”, he added.

Engr. Badmus explained that, in addition to the earlier introduced payments channels, water bill payments have also been made available on payment platforms such as Firstmonie, Paga and PocketMoni, noting that customers can also reach out or approach agents of these companies in their various areas to pay their water bills.

“The Corporation had earlier introduced Paydirect, Bank Payments, ATM Machine, POS devices, Interswitch and Paypoint as payment channels for water bills. But we have now added more channels such as Firstmonie, Paga, PocketMoni and online payments for the convenience of our esteemed customers”, he disclosed.
