The Vice Chancellor, Cross River University of Technology, CRUTECH, Prof Anthony Owan-Enoh has expressed the University’s appreciation to the management of FAD FM 93.1 Calabar for the training opportunities offered to several Mass Communication students of the institution.
Prof Enoh made the commendation recently in his office when the broadcast station’s management visited the University main campus situated at the heart of the State capital, Calabar.
The Vice Chancellor stated that the University cannot completely pay the station for all the training opportunities offered the students.
While describing the station’s familiarisation tour as important, Prof. Enoh called for the synergy between the two organizations while pledging the commitment of the institution in partnering with the radio station.
In his response, Mr. Fidelis Duker, Chief Executive Officer, FAD FM Calabar, said the primary purpose of the visit was to intimate the University community of FAD FM’s primary objective which is to change people’s perception of issues and give the Cross Riverians a voice of expression.
The movie and media mogul thus appealed for the support of CRUTECH in creating a conducive environment for smooth operation of the station’s activities.
