Social media influencer, Dorcas Adeyinka, has publicly apologised to Nollywood actress, Chief (Mrs) Lizzy Anjorin, for wading into a social media controversy involving her and other individuals, saying she regretted interfering in a matter that did not concern her.

Adeyinka made the apologies in a live broadcast monitored on her social media handle (TikTok) named @BOSSLADYHOUSEOFTMSBLO.

She also apologised to Anjorin’s husband, Abdullateef Lawal, popularly known as Alhaji Lateef, while pleading with her followers to help seek the actress’s forgiveness.

The social media influencer, in her apology which she rendered in partially English and majorly Yoruba languages, said she had realised her mistake and promised not to involve herself in the dispute again.

Adeyinka had tendered the apology in three parts captioned: “DORCAS ADEYINKA FINALLY APOLOGIES TO ALHAJA LIZZY ANJORIN DEEPLY

Part 2: “Please ***** I don’t want be involved in the ~ fracas btw fola and lizzy and I apologized to Mr. Alh. Abdul Lateef and Chief Mrs. Alh. Anjorin. Am so sorry, e ma binu, for me involving in what is not my business forgive me,” says DORCAS ADEYINKA @lizzyanjorin_soyoyo @BOSSLADYHOUSEOFTMSBLO

Part 3: “Even if I used 7 years to apologized to Lizzy Anjorin, chey ko worth e ni or didn’t you guy known how long we had showed for Lizzy Anjorin ni,” says Dorcas Adeyinka.

She added: “I have accepted my mistake and, deep down from the bottom of my heart, I apologise to Lizzy Anjorin.”

In the podcast, Adeyinka also said someone involved her in a matter that does not concerns her. “She, put my nose, my mouth and my body into what does not concern me”, adding that she was deeply sorry for her intervention in the matter.

Adeyinka also prayed for Anjorin, saying God would restore anything she might have lost as a result of the controversy.

“Everything you lost in the process, may Almighty God multiply it for you, Lizzy Anjorin. Absolutely everything that slipped through your hands in the process of this whole issue, God will restore it to you,” she said.

Appealing directly to Anjorin, Adeyinka urged her not to be angry with her, while asking her online followers to celebrate the actress and show her love.

She said she was not interested in fighting or engaging in petty disputes, stressing that she preferred to have peace of mind.

“I don’t like trouble, I don’t like fighting, I don’t want petty disputes. I don’t know how to handle court cases. I just want peace of mind,” Adeyinka said.

She further appealed to members of her online community to stop bringing matters concerning Anjorin and the ongoing controversy to their platform.

Adeyinka specifically urged those involved in the dispute to take their grievances elsewhere, insisting that she did not want further confrontation on her platform.

The social media influencer also explained that she decided to make the public apology after screenshots of her earlier comments began circulating online.

She said the development prompted her to address the matter publicly and make her position clear.

Adeyinka maintained that she was not initially part of the disagreement but was dragged into the social media controversy after commenting on the matter.

She also made reference to a house linked to the controversy, claiming that the property was connected to the Adeyinka Foundation and that she was responsible for purchasing the land.

The Princess ended her broadcast by appealing to the more than 1,500 people who joined her live session to help convey her apology to Anjorin.

She reiterated that she wanted peace and would no longer involve herself in the dispute involving the actress.

Reacting to Adeyinka’s podcast apologies, Lizzy Anjorin’s husband, Alhaji Abdullateef Lawal, a.k.a Alhaji Lateef. said: “We have listened to the audio clips which she made in three parts (Part 1 to 3).

“We have forwarded the clips to our legal teams for advice and the next steps to take.”
