Dame Amaechi Preaches Good Family Values, Peace At Easter

As Christians join their counterpart across the world to commemorate the death and resurrection of Jesus Christ, the wife of the Honourable Minister for Transportation and Founder of the Empowerment Support Initiative, Dame Judith Amaechi, has appealed to Christians to use the Easter season to renew their relationships with their children and instill virtues of peace, moral rectitude and harmonious relationships, which the season represents.

Dame Amaechi stated this in her Easter message to felicitate with Christians at Easter and signed by her media Dr. Dike Bekwele.

She expressed worries over high moral decadence among youths in the country and advised families to redirect their positive energy to raising children with the fear of God.  

Mrs. Amaechi further stated that the death and resurrection of Jesus Christ calls for renewal of family values, Christian faith and a commitment for harmonious relationships among Nigerian families.

 According to the Former Rivers First Lady, Nigerians at the moment are in dire need of love, peaceful co-existence and high moral rectitude.

She added that Nigerians especially Christians should not pay lips service to commemorate Easter, rather it is a time to reflect on the significance of the season and reinforce good and positive family values.

Dame Amaechi congratulated Christians on the Easter season and enjoined them to celebrate with sober reflections.
