Dana Airlines, Nigeria’s preferred airlines, have joined the list of sponsors for the Premium Trust Bank Abuja City International Half Marathon.
The Abuja City International Half Marathon, already slated for April 20th, 2024, under the auspice of Nilayo Sports Management, will stand out as the biggest Half Marathon in Nigeria’s sports history. The inaugural Press Conference is scheduled for January 2024.
Dana Airlines’ Head Corporate Communications, Kingsley Ezenwa, said Monday, that, “the company is honoured to be a proud sponsor of the Abuja international half Marathon exemplifying our commitment as a youth-friendly brand dedicated to supporting initiatives that empower our youth and showcases Nigeria’s positive potential on the global stage.”
The management of Nigeria’s premium Marathon races organisers, Nilayo Sports Management, led by its Managing Director, Chief Bukola Olopade, some months ago signed a lucrative contract deal that has seen the birth of the Premium Trust Bank Abuja City International Marathon.
In the words of the Nigeria’s Marathon Generaliso,the Premium Trust Bank Abuja City International Half Marathon, has been approved by the Athletics Federation of Nigeria and the Federal Capital Territory Administration. Premium Trust Bank Abuja City International Half Marathon Route has been measured by Association of International Marathons and Distance Races (AIMS) and is also endorsed by Federal Ministry of Youth and Sports.
The Nilayo Sports Management Limited boss noted that, the target is to have another Gold-Label status Half Marathon Race in Nigeria especially in the beautiful city of Abuja, Nigeria’s federal capital city.
