The 2022 US Open Judo Championship, which is the 33rd edition, had over five hundred veteran Judokas from countries across the globe.
It was indeed a congregation of veteran judokas including those who have participated in global championships like the Olympics.
DCP Tunji Disu contested in the minus 100kg category where he defeated Woods Glen, the number one veteran Judoka in the United States, to claim a silver medal in the competition.
According to Disu, this feat was achieved after a thorough preparation ahead of the competition.
He encouraged the youths to engage in sporting activities like Judo which helps to increase the mental and physical alertness of individuals.
