ADAMU HUSSAIN

It is quite disheartening to see some Nigerian youths in certain quarters calling for the return of People’s Democratic Party, PDP to power. This is to say the least, appalling.

Let me quickly educate their crass ignorant minds that the architect of the myriad of problems that have bedevilled this nation is the PDP. This is a party that has looted this country to its knees. The facts of their 16 years misdemeanors in power is in public domain. This is a party under which the president of the country then said stealing was not Corruption. This gave leaders the express licence to steal our collective wealths with reckless impunity.

It would take a discerning mind who understood the magnitude of the mess that the PDP has plunged this country into to appreciate where we are coming from, what this present government has achieved so far and where the government is heading to, in the next four years to salute the efforts of Mr President BABA BUHARI of the APC so far.

To the youths and those who have “dwarf memory” about the genesis of the economic travails the country went through before it is being salvaged by APC administration, I want to urge you all to take a few lessons in history of how the PDP squandered over N300,000 trillion during its 16 years of the party’s misrule, then you will understand the grave danger in yearning for PDP to return to power.

“Whoever wins 2015 will NEVER find it easy to govern over N30 trillion mismanaged, unaccounted for or missing under Jonathan” – Prof. Charles Soludo.

“Over 20 billion dollars unremitted to the federation account, and if nothing is done by 2015 upward, Nigeria will know what economic crisis is” – Emir Sanusi Lamido Sanusi.

“I told them to save ahead of eventualities, but Jonathan had no political will to do so and this is the reason why we are in crisis, because we squandered our boom” – Ngozi Okonjo Iwela.

And also let me urge you to shun the ruse called the coalition of Nigerians being championed by the chief deceit himself. The coalition does not hold the key to Nigeria’s greatness. The journey to Nigeria’s greatness has already begun with BABA BUHAR of APC, so hold on fast to this rope of prosperity and we shall all laugh last. This is my standpoint.
