Democratic Government Is Still Better…

The Worst Democratic government is still very much better than the Best military administration.

The vulture once begged death not to kill the entire old men in a clan at once, so that there will be one old man left to constantly remind the young people that though the vulture may be a bird, it is not an edible meat 🍖 for consumption.

I have read young people and some “old folks” on this space and Twitter commending the Nigerien coupist, Capt. Traore. What I sense is what Achebe said about history and the black man — we learn nothing from history but to repeat it. All the stories about his banning whatever export of natural resource to France is a hoax.

You think the Military would rule you and grant you free speech?

You think Niger, as poor as they are, can survive without international trade and multilateral relations?

You think Coups were such a good thing and the world fought so hard to phase it out?

Nobody should gourd you into the same nonsense thinking that has brought a place like the Southeast under the subjugation of some irresponsible Finland based fraudster. Never again should distraught Politicians hit up the polity to the point of inciting our military to leave the barracks.

This is in your best interest and in the interest of a free Society.
