After  playing 1-1 draw with the Indomitable Lions of Cameroon in the reverse fixture of the FIFA 2018 Russia World Cup, Ahmed Alkali, the chairman of the Nationwide League One,  NLO,   has said that it was a good performance from the Super Eagles and the way forward now is for the team to demolish Zambia in Uyo next month and qualify for the football mundial.

According to the Nasarawa state-born football administrator,  Nigeria is yet to qualify for the World  Cup and it will be a suicidal for the Super Eagles to underrate the Chipolopolo of Zambia  on match day 5 of the World Cup qualifying campaign.

” Super Eagles performed very well to get a valuable away point here in Yaoundé and we Nigerians are happy , but Nigeria have not qualified yet for the World Cup. Therefore, the players must remain focused in their next game , which I think will be the demolition of Zambia in Uyo to qualify for the World Cup, ” Alkali said.

” We must be at the World  Cup  and Zambia is not a team that should be underrated  in any form, ” he added.

Algeria will host Zambia Tuesday in Algiers in the reverse fixture of the encounter between the two teams that ended 3-1 in favour of Southern African side.
