Ijebuland is set to welcome a new addition to Nigeria’s festive entertainment calendar with the launch of Ijebu Detty December 2026, a three-day music, lifestyle, culture and entertainment festival scheduled to hold from Tuesday, 29 to Thursday, 31 December 2026 in Ijebu-Ode.

Organised by Festival Managers Africa International Limited (FMA), the festival is designed to create a distinctive December experience that brings together music, comedy, culture, food, fashion, gaming, lifestyle, tourism and brand experiences on one vibrant platform.

The festival will attract thousands of youths, young professionals, returning indigenes, tourists and entertainment enthusiasts for three days of live performances, cultural expression, social interaction and premium consumer experiences.

As the commercial, social and entertainment hub of Ijebuland, Ijebu-Ode is strategically positioned to host the festival.

Its central location, vibrant commercial activities, hospitality infrastructure and strong cultural influence make it an ideal destination for visitors from all over during the festive season.

Ijebu Detty December is conceived as more than an entertainment event. It is an annual homecoming celebration designed to showcase the hospitality, culture, creativity and entrepreneurial spirit of Ijebuland, while creating opportunities for local businesses, creatives, vendors, hospitality operators and other stakeholders.

The festival programme will feature live musical performances, celebrity appearances, DJs, comedy, cultural showcases, food and fashion experiences, gaming, lifestyle activities and interactive brand activations.

The organisers are inviting leading brands and institutions to participate as Sponsors and Strategic Partners across key sectors including banking and financial services, fintech, insurance, telecommunications, food and beverages, energy, automotive, hospitality and tourism, media, technology, fashion and lifestyle.

The multi-brand festival ecosystem will provide partners with opportunities to connect directly with consumers, activate their brands and own relevant festival experiences, while contributing to the growth of a major annual entertainment platform for Ijebuland.

Speaking on the initiative, Otunba Jide Fowode, Managing Director/Chief Experience Officer (CXO), Festival Managers Africa International Limited, said “Ijebu Detty December is a strategic entertainment and lifestyle platform designed to establish a signature December destination in Ijebuland while creating measurable value for brands, businesses and the local economy. By combining entertainment, culture, consumer engagement and tourism, the festival offers sponsors an opportunity to connect with a vibrant audience, drive brand visibility and activation, and build long-term equity by becoming part of a new and enduring December tradition in Ijebuland.”

Festival Managers Africa International Limited brings extensive experience in festival management, sponsorship marketing, experiential marketing, stakeholder engagement, media, publicity and event production to the project.

Ijebu Detty December 2026 promises three days of entertainment, culture, connection and unforgettable experiences as Ijebuland comes alive during the festive season.
