It was showers of prayers and praises for Diamond Heritage Lions Club, Ago, Okota, Lagos State, District 404B1, Nigeria, as it embarked on vision awareness by giving free eye glasses, drugs and other medical services to the residents.
P.M.EXPRESS reports that apart from the medical services, the club had earlier embarked on community service by cleaning drainage in the area and donated a number of food items, detergents to orphanage home and equally pledged their support to the orphanage anytime the need arises.
Some of the beneficiaries took turns to offer prayers to God on behalf of the Club and its members, asking God to replenish their pockets for coming to take care of them.
The Chartered President of the Club, Lion Chidume Ngozi, (NLCF) reiterated the commitment of the members to offer social services to the community and indeed humanity as the cardinal motive of the club.
