Losing one’s polling unit during elections is the most basic sign of dwindling capacity no matter how popular one thinks he is.
In the last State Assembly elections, Peter was served a deadly lemon by members of his polling unit in Agulu, his hometown. This was rightly so for descending into the arena with his biteless Labour Party candidate, who on all scale of leadership measurement comes below par.
This is what it is for Peter – a frantic chase to become the Anambra political godfather, even if it means presenting lackeys. His whole mouthing of competence is a ruse. The vintage Peter known to ndi Anambra is a hypocrite, who says one thing and does another.
The Agulu experience is a nucleus of the Anambra voter sophistication, a sign that Peter is yet far from being the leader he thinks he is. The Anaocha 1 State Constituents are bruised and will surely keep a date with Peter sooner than he thinks.
