The Director of Public Prosecutions of the Federation (DPPF), Rotimi Iseoluwa Oyedepo, SAN, has extended warm Eid-el-Kabir greetings to Muslims across Nigeria, urging citizens to embrace peace, unity, and love during the festive season.
In a goodwill message issued to mark the celebration, Oyedepo congratulated Muslim faithful on witnessing another Eid-el-Kabir, describing the occasion as a period of sacrifice, devotion, and reflection.
He prayed that Allah would accept the sacrifices and acts of worship offered during the season and bless Nigerians with peace, good health, happiness, and divine favour.
The DPPF also called on citizens to use the celebration as an opportunity to strengthen the bonds of unity and harmony among people of different religious and ethnic backgrounds.
According to him, the values of tolerance, compassion, and peaceful coexistence remain critical to national stability and development.
“Warm season greetings to all our Muslim brothers and sisters. As you celebrate this joyous occasion, may Allah accept your sacrifices, grant you peace, abundant blessings, divine favour, good health, and happiness in all your homes,” he said.
He added: “Barka da Sallah! Eid Mubarak to you and your loved ones. May this season strengthen the bonds of unity, love, and harmony among us all.”
Oyedepo further wished Muslims across the country a peaceful and memorable Eid-el-Kabir celebration filled with joy, renewed hope, and prosperity.
