Dr Kennedy Okonkwo Empowers 5 Tech Entrepreneurs

Dr. Kennedy Okonkwo, CEO of NEDCom Oaks, Owners of Victoria Crest Homes, one of Nigeria’s foremost Real Estate Company, on Monday 14th October, 2019, empowered five young entrepreneurs in the Tech Industry.
At the maiden edition of KOPETECH 2019, a yearly programme for empowering young tech entrepreneurs in the six geopolitical zones of Nigeria, 5 out of 12 young up-coming Tech Entrepreneurs were given cash rewards for business after being carefully selected by a 6-man panel which included Mr. Noble Igwe, Dr. Roland Igbinosa, Dr. Lizzy and others.
The host and convener, Dr. Kenny Okonkwo, in his remarks charged the young entrepreneurs to work hard, remain resilient and never expect anything on a platter of gold especially in a difficult terrain like Nigeria, where there are so many things to pull one down.
Stating further, the real estate mogul told the young entrepreneurs to expect many discouragements and knock downs but should not give up but rather stay focused and disciplined.
Other dignataries at the event were, Barrister Sylvester okonkwo, MD/CEO Chintos Technologies, Mr. Ronald Igbinoba, CEO of Pythos Group, Mr. Noble Igwe, brand influencer and Julius Omodayo Owotuga (CFA), CEO Amperion.
Also at the event was the Chairman of Insight Communication, Dr. Ken Onyeali Ikpe, who advised youths and entrepreneurs to channel their energies to solutions rather than complaints as there are a lot of opportunities in the country.​ ​ ​
The highlight of the event was the presentation of cheques to the 5 lucky entrepreneurs picked by the 6-man panelists.
Swift Medispark, a company that develops software​ discouraging paper work in our hospital and encouraging efficiency, went home with $5,000 for coming tops while the remaining contestants went home with N1,000,000 each. All the contestants were also rewarded with a year office space in Lekki​ and a mentorship class with Dr. Kennedy.
The other contestants were, Fluxbie, a Public Bus Transport application for hailing bus through their smart phones and Akio, real estate software app for rent solution, ALT consult, an application that gives access to low income earners who hopes to invest in real estate and 360 Human, a real estate application that makes it easy for clients to see through houses in a 3D format.
Dr. Kennedy, in his closing remarks, urged the contestants, who lost the winners prize, not to relent in their quest for success and rewarded everyone N100,000 each for participating.
