Dr Ogbuku Is An Extraordinary Administrator & Ambassador Of Renewed Hope Agenda – Says ONC & SYF

Respected groups, the Orashi National Congress, ONC, and Southern Youth Foundation of Nigeria, SYF, have lauded Dr. Samuel Ogbuku, the MD of Niger Delta Development Commission, NDDC, for exceptional administrative strides. 

 

The groups posited that with the display of genuine commitment to the cause of the Niger Delta region, Dr Ogbuku’s administrative acumen has positioned him as a frontline ambassador of the Renewed Hope Agenda of President Bola Ahmed Tinubu.

 

In a statement on Saturday, 10th January, 2026, signed by the President General of the notable Niger Delta socio-cultural group, the Orashi National Congress, ONC, Amb Comrade Emeni Ibe, who doubles as the National President of the SYF, the groups said that Dr Samuel Ogbuku and his team have over a short period in office shown to all that they possess genuine passion, huge administrative capacity and the strong will to change the narratives in the NDDC.

 

“The groups stated,” The leadership and members of the ONC and SYF, wish to highly commend the MD of the Niger Delta Development Commission, NDDC, Dr Samuel Ogbuku, for his administrative strides since he assumed office. His zeal and genuine commitment to turn things around in the Niger Delta region remain unparalleled”.

 

“The length and breadth of the Niger Delta region have been turned into huge construction sites following his vision to provide critical infrastructure that will open up and aid speedy economic development of our region. Within a a short time, many projects have been completed and many are still ongoing.”

 

“Aside putting together a summit, which addressed all areas of concerns, he has embarked on the empowerment of the youth in the region in order to positively engage them. Even though the Orashi National Congress and Southern Youth Foundation of Nigeria are yet to benefit from Dr Ogbuku’s empowerment drive, we are hopeful that our turn will come this New Year.”

 

“His clear vision for the region can be seen from the recent budget he presented to the National Assembly. We therefore, urge the National Assembly to expedite actions on the approval of the NDDC budget in order for Dr Ogbuku and his team to accelerate work on different intervention projects across the region.”

 

“We must state in strong terms that Dr Samuel Ogboku’s vision, passion, administration acumen and the transformation witnessed across the Niger Delta region and within the NDDC, have positioned him as an ambassador and embodiment of the Renewed Hope Agenda of President Bola Ahmed Tinubu.”

 

“While we highly commend him for the giant strides, we reiterate our strong support and wish him the very best in the new fiscal year. We believe that under his watch our region will witness unprecedented economic growth and infrastructural development.”
