The fiery founder of the Omega Fire Ministries Worldwide Apostle Johnson Suleman has been released after a brief interrogation by the operatives of the Department of State Security, DSS.
A close aide of the clergy told P.M.EXPRESS that the officials of the security agency questioned him on his statement in a video that gone viral on the social media last week.
In the video, Suleman was shown calling on his congregation to kill any Fulani herdsman that is seen around the church.
“If they are busy killing Christians and nothing is happening, we will kill them and nothing will happen,” he said.
But after about 40 minutes interrogation, and it was established that there was no real threat in his comment, he was released some minutes to 11 p.m Monday night.
The aide said Apostle Suleman left Abuja immediately and was on his way to the church headquarters in Auchi, Edo State in a convoy of some church members and aides.
The DSS has invited Suleman on Sunday to visit their office in Abuja on Monday.
