John Ugbe, while commenting on the awards said, “We are very grateful for the recognition. It’s been an incredibly tough year for everyone, and we’ve never been more aware of our responsibilities to our customers and the big role media and entertainment play in the society. This year, we’ve more than doubled our efforts to ensure that we not only continue to deliver on our promise of serving the best content to our customers but that we also engage in impactful community support efforts like we did at the peak of the COVID-19 pandemic. Awards like these ones serve to let us know that all the work we put in is recognized.”

Now in its second year, Brandcom Awards is designed to be the most credible and prestigious platform recognising, rewarding and inspiring agencies, brands and individuals in the marketing and communications industry in Nigeria.

According to the convener and publisher of the awards of Brand Communicator, Joshua Ajayi, “Despite the lockdown occasioned by COVID-19 this year which affected economic activities and businesses, some brands, agencies and individuals were outstanding within their space with their innovative solutions, campaigns and consumer engagements.”
