As Christians all over the world, commemorate the sacrificial death and redemptive resurrection of our Lord Jesus Christ, the All Progressives Congress, APC, Imo State chapter, has extended its warmest felicitation to the good and enterprising people of Imo State as well as Christians in Nigeria.
The State Chairman, Hon. Macdonald Kelechi Ebere PhD, in his Easter message, described the occasion as a celebration of the resurrection of Jesus Christ, the Son of God, who sacrificed Himself for the salvation of mankind.
According to him, “Easter is a time for us to reflect on the ultimate sacrifice that Jesus made and to renew our faith in Him”.
As we commemorate this special occasion, he charged Christians to take a moment to appreciate the blessings of peace, hope, and joy that Easter brings to our lives.
He however, used the opportunity to call on all Imolites to continue to support and identify with the Shared Prosperity administration of His Excellency, Distinguished Senator Hope Uzodimma who had continued to surpass the expectation of the people in areas of infrastructural development in the state.
In his words, “Our governor has made giant strides in improving the infrastructure of our state, creating job opportunities for our youths, and enhancing the quality of education in our state. We must appreciate and support his efforts as he works towards the greater growth and development of our state”.
The Chairman, further extended the appreciation of the State Executive Committee of the party to Imolites, over their overwhelming support and vote for APC during the just concluded national and state assembly elections, which translated to the landslide victory of our party, while urging them to remain focus and undistracted as we approach the November 11 gubernatorial election.
He prayed that the resurrection of Christ Jesus will Renew our Hope and sustain our assurance of a Shared Prosperity in Imo and for Imolites.
