Ten months after the Department of State Services, DSS under the leadership of its recently sacked Director-General Lawal Daura, prevented the Economic and Financial Crimes Commission, EFCC operatives from searching or arresting another former DG, Ita Ekpenyong despite a court order, the latter has finally be arrested.
It was gathered that the EFCC men arrested Ekpenyong on Thursday afternoon at 46 Maman Nasir Street, Asokoro, Abuja.
The EFCC operatives were said to have stormed the house in three buses and some patrol vehicles accompanied by over 20 armed policemen.
The operatives then searched the mansion for over two hours before leaving at 3.20pm.
