Efe Sets Social Media Agog After Winning Big Brother Naija

After 78 days of dramatic activities in the Big Brother Naija (BBN) house, fans favourite, Efe Ejeba on Sunday night emerged the winner of the popular television reality show with an unprecedented landslide votes of 57.61%.

The 24-year-old Efe and the youngest in the house, defeated his closest rival Bisola who got a mere 18.54% despite the general believe that it would turnout to be a close call between the two top contestants.

Efe, an upcoming rapper, alone got over half of the entire votes, leaving the remaining four housemates to share the remaining votes.

The Delta State-born new reality show star walked home with the coveted cash prize of N25 million and a Kia Seranto SUV.

While in the house, Efe was unique for his frankness, multiple-term as Head of House, and his common use of pidgin diction with jokey phrases.

A graduate of Economics from the University of Jos, the self-acclaimed ‘street’ boy, who was one of the usually nominated housemates for possible eviction, had, each time, led the vote chart.

Other finalists are TBoss, who scored 13.60%, followed by Guitar girl Debbie Rise who polled 8.78% and the last girl Marvis with 1.47%.

During the grand finale, TBoss also won Payporte Friday Arena games and was rewarded with a N500,000 shopping voucher.

Multi-talented BISOLA won the ONE Campaign’s Back to School challenge thus becoming one of the global ambassadors of the Bono-led ONE.

She will also be in New York, United States later in the year to speak during the UN Congress and meet World Leaders to discuss the rights of the Girl child.

 

Music superstar, 2Baba; Mavin/Roc Nation singer, Tiwa Savage; and South Africa-based Nigerian rapper Emmy Gee performed at the live eviction show.

It was a live crossing show, with Ebuka Obi-Uchendu, the show host, was in the South African studio, while former BBN winner, Katung Aduwak anchored the live broadcast from the Lagos screening center in Ikeja with fans of the show, sponsors, media and all the evicted BBnaija housemates.

The Big Brother Naija 2017 which began in January had other nine housemates evicted at various times during the show. They are Bally, Bassey, Coco Ice, Gifty, Kemen, Miyonse, Soma, ThinTallTony and Uriel,

Two fake housemates Jon and Ese were also shown the door.
