Kabiru was said to have been murdered by an armed gang numbering five who were conveyed in a grey sienna bus without number plate.

Our correspondent further gathered that the deceased was a close associate of the two brothers, Oyelami Ibrahim and Oyelami Azeez who were murdered in a similar circumstance by this rival cult group in Mushin sometime in 2015. The younger brother of the deceased, Oyelami Olayisoye was said to have narrowly escaped death by the whisker from the assailants.

The younger brother of the deceased, Olayisoye was said to have narrowly escaped death by the whisker from the assailants.

It was alleged that Oyelami Ibrahim and his group were responsible the death of two senior ranking members of their confraternity and hence, had vowed to drop no fewer than five heads to atone for the unpardonable sin.

The deceased was said to have fled the neighbourhood since the beginning of the war that consumed his friends a couple of years back before he returned few months ago.

Attempts at speaking with his Kabiru’s wife proved abortive as series of calls made to her phone were neither picked nor returned.

Meanwhile, the victim’s body had been deposited in the mortuary.
