The Chief of Staff to the Executive Governor of Lagos State, Hon Tayo Ayinde, has felicitated with the Muslims while urging them to imbibe the teachings of Prophet Muhammad, which charges all on humility, gratitude and charity towards one another.
In his Eid message, Ayinde said, “We thank Allah for the successful completion of the month long Ramadan and for sparing our lives to celebrate this year’s Sallah peacefully”.
“To my Musliim brothers and sisters, uphold the obedience to Allah in the spirit of forgiveness for one another, imbibe the injunctions of Prophet Muhammed (SAW), which teaches humility, gratitude and charity towards one another.”
“I will also enjoin political leaders, followers, religious leaders and adherents to come together to forge a harmonious relationship for the entire Ikeja Federal Constituency, Lagos State, and Nigeria at large.”
“It is imperative for Muslims to utilize this period to pray fervently for peace, progress of our dear country and to also remain true to the teachings of Islam imbibed during the fast and after the Holy Month.”
“As you celebrate this year’s Eid_El-Fitri, pray for our dear nation, be moderate in the celebration of the Sallah and eschew anything capable of causing crisis in our various neighborhoods. I wish you all an accepted Ramadan fast and successful Eid-El-Fitri” Ayinde concluded.
