As Muslim Faithful across the world mark the Eid-el-Fitri celebration, the President of OJB Foundation, Hon. Olaide Bello (OJB), has felicitated with Islamic adherents urging them not to forget the lessons learnt all through the month of Ramadan.
Hon OJB, in his Eid-el-Fitri message made available to newsmen, wished the Muslim Ummah a Happy and Peaceful Celebration.
In his words, “We are most grateful to the Almighty Allah for the privilege of being alive to complete the month of Ramadan with its attendant spiritual purification and to celebrate the Eid-el-Fitri”.
“As I felicitate with our Muslim brothers and sisters across the world, Nigeria and Lagos State, I equally urge them not to forget to celebrate in accordance with Covid-19 protocols.”
“The Eid-el-Fitri also provides us an opportunity to reach out to our neighbours across religious divide in love with gifts, meals and anything we can afford to join in the celebration. I therefore, urge the Muslim faithful to show love to our neighbours.”
“As our great party, the All Progressives Congress, prepares towards the forthcoming Local Government elections in Lagos State, I equally want to use this opportunity to appeal to our youths not to allow anyone to use them to cause violence but to ensure that they participate fully in the processes leading to the election.”
“On behalf of myself and everyone at OJB Foundation, i say Happy Eid-el-Fitri celebration to our Muslim brothers and sisters!” Hon. OJB concluded.
