Ekwunife Commiserates With Chief Gabriel & Innocent Chukwuma Over Their Mother’s Death

The Senator representing Anambra Central Senatorial District, Uche Ekwunife, PhD, Friday, February 25, 2022, joined the PDP Vice Presidential candidate in the last general elections, HE Peter Obi and other men and women of goodwill from all walks of life to commiserate with the entire Uru Umudim community, Nnewi North LGA, over the death of their matriarch, late Mrs. Martina Chukwuma.

Late Mrs. Chukwuma, was until her death the mother of Chief Gabriel and Innocent Chukwuma. Chief Gabriel is the Chairman/CEO Gabros Group of Companies while Dr. Innocent Chukwuma OFR is the Chairman/CEO of Innoson Vehicle Manufacturing.

The funeral ceremony which was held at her residence was graced by notable dignitaries such as the deputy governor of Imo state, Prof Placid Njoku, Minister of State for Mines and Steel Development of Nigeria, Dr Uche Ogah, wife of the former President of Nigeria, Dame Patience Jonathan and founder and CEO of Chicason Group of Companies, Chief Chika Okafor.

In her condolence message, Ekwunife described late Mrs Chukwuma as a woman of many parts whose life and times would continue to be celebrated by those she had dealings with. The Senator noted that the deceased lived with sheer determination, and that her hard work, love, prayers and guidance were instrumental to the successes of her children.

The Chairman Senate Committee on Science, Technology and Innovation further urged the bereaved to take comfort in the fact that their mother lived a memorable life.

“My thoughts and prayers are with the family in this trying time. On behalf of my family and the good people of Anambra Central Senatorial District, I commiserate with Gabros and Innoson and pray God to give the family the fortitude to bear this irreplaceable loss”, Ekwunife concluded.

Late Mrs. Chukwuma died at the age of 101 years.
