The Senator representing Anambra Central Senatorial District, Uche Ekwunife PhD, on Saturday, August 14, 2021 attended the wedding ceremony of Mr Chinonso Anthony Ofozoba and Oluchi Ada Izuakam. Ekwunife celebrated with the couple, describing the groom as one of her most dedicated staff.a aa
Mr. Ofozoba, a lecturer of Political Science in Chukwuemeka Odumegwu Ojukwu University is the Head, Anambra Central Senatorial District Liaison Office.
While congratulating the couple, Ekwunife described holy matrimony as an institution ordained by God, advising the couple to live in love, tolerance and mutual respect. She said that Mr. Ofozoba is a young man she has worked closely with over the years, adding that he is a humble and good man.
Continuing, the Chairman Senate Committee on Science, Technology and Innovation expressed gladness for witnessing the ceremony, while praying God to bless the union.
Dignitaries present were PDP candidate for the upcoming election, Mr. Valentine Ozigbo, Dr. Godwin Maduka (Okosisi Orumba), Deputy Minority Leader of the State House of Assembly, Hon. Ebele Ejiofor amongst others.
Others present included, former Chairman ASUBEB, Dr Rose Nwankwo, former Accountant General of Anambra State, Mrs. Helen Nwaeri, DG Senator Uche Ekwunife Campaign Organization, Chief A. A Anagu, former commissioner for commerce and Industry, Hon Ken Arinze, former Commissioner for Women Affairs, Hon. Mrs. Bridget Obi, PDP Ex-Officio Anambra North, Hon Emeka Nzekwe, Legislative Assistant to Senator Ekwunife, Hon Ifeyinwa Chinwuko amongst others.
