In line with her consistent drive towards provision of public infrastructure and utilities to communities under her jurisdiction, the Senator representing Anambra Central Senatorial District, Uche Ekwunife, PhD, has inspected renovated block of classrooms, offices and toilets at community central school, Eziowelle in Idemili North LGA. The completed classroom block is among the numerous projects attracted by the Federal lawmaker.

Inspecting the project, Ekwunife described Education as the bedroom of development, reiterating her commitment towards the advancement of infrastructure in the sector. She expressed her gratitude to the people of the community, thanking them for their support and solidarity.

Receiving the project team, a representative of the School Headmistress, Mrs Anakwe Susan thanked the federal lawmaker for upgrading the school infrastructure.

“We appreciate Senator Ekwunife for this much needed intervention. She renovated everywhere. The ceilings, roofs, toilets, offices and classroooms. She is indeed a giant woman. May God bless and strengthen her.”, Mrs Susan said.

Appreciating the Federal lawmaker, the PDP Chairman Eziowelle ward, Mr Can Mbanefo noted that the school was in a pitiable state before the Senator’s intervention.

“The level of dilapidation of the classrooms caused parents to start withdrawing their children from the school for lack of safety. It is marvellous to see the transformation courtesy of Senator Ekwunife. We thank her immensely for her intervention. She will continue to enjoy the support of Eziowelle people”, the Ward Chairman said.

Also extolling Ekwunife for her good virtues, the Immediate past chairman of PDP Eziowelle ward and current member of the party’s Idemili North LGA executive, Hon Emeka Muorah stated that the community is used to the large heart of Senator Ekwunife. He expressed gratitude to the Senator for the project and described her as a great mother.

Ekwunife was represented by her project team led by the Anambra Central Senatorial District Project Manager, Hon Ifeyinwa Chinwuko.
