Eleme APC Condoles With The Family Of Prince Obarine Wai-Ogosu

The leadership of Rivers State APC, Eleme Chapter, has joined the rest of the Community to condole with a party chieftain and one-time Supervisory Councillor of Eleme LGA, Hon. Prince Obarine Wai-Ogosu, over the demise of the latter’s family matriarch, Late Mrs. Virginia Onyeiroajanma Wai-Ogosu.

Virginia, until her passing on to eternity, was the wife of the elder statesman, Sage, Patriot, and former Chief Justice of the Old River State, Justice Wai Ogosu. The matriarch stood her ground after the death of her late husband, and nurtured to fruition all the children our revered legal arbiter left behind for her, notable amongst whom is Hon. Prince Obarine Wai-Ogosu, a consummate professional, Political Activist, Strategic Planner and Social Analyst.

APC leadership train was piloted by Alternate Leader in the LGA and Caucus member of Rivers State APC, former Commissioner of Sports Development, Chief Hon. Fred Mbombo Igwe, and other stalwarts to Agbeta Onne Eleme, where the obsequies took place.

Earlier on, the Nigerian Ambassador to the Royal Kingdom of Netherlands, Chief Hon. Oji Ngofa, had transmitted a condolence letter on behalf of himself and family to the bereaved, part of which read:

“The death of the matriarch reverses our memories to the period when our late sage and elder statesman reigned as Chief Justice of the old Rivers State, with fond thoughts on the roles she played as a pillar behind that noble man, and those sterling qualities, which she bequeathed to her children, even as a widow. She was steadfast, dogged and ever caring both to her family, peers and social callings.

Madam Virginia has created a vacuum which shall be very difficult to fill. To this, we identify with your family, compound and entire Onne and Eleme people in general…”

The burial of the wife of Late Justice Wai-Ogosu was well attended by the entire Eleme Community, Rivers State, the Diaspora and Nigeria in general.
