A Lagos based amateur club, Prince Kazeem Eletu Queens Football Club would be a team that organisers would watch out for when Flying Officers Cup kicks off next month in Abuja.
The Eletu Queens have sent a warning signal to other participating teams ahead of next month competition following their superb performances showed in their recent friendly matches in Lagos.
In order to prepare well for the competition, Eletu Queens hammered Yaba College of Technology female football team 3-1 in their home ground and walloped Lagos State Polytechnic 2-0 in their school sports centre, Ikorodu, Lagos.
Head coach of Prince Kazeem Eletu Queens, Damilare Jaiyeola has expressed satisfaction with the progress and success of the team in the two friendlies boasting that his girls would cause upset in the Flying Officers Cup
“We are getting better in our preparation for Flying Officers Cup. Our recent friendlies showed that there is a tremendous improvement in the team and we are ready to give an account of ourselves in Abuja comes next month,” he said.
Jaiyeola urged his players to remain focused and avoid any social vices that can affect their performance. He said if his players can continue on this steady form, the team would go far in Flying Officers Cup.
