The Lagos State Police Command has listed buildings and properties destroyed and burnt down by hoodlums disguised as #EndSARS protesters in Lagos.

P.M.EXPRESS reports that the civil unrest, which started 12 days ago, escalated in Lagos State and have left a trail of burnt buildings, smashed windows, and looted stores even across the States.

The mayhem escalated two days ago after the shooting at Lekki toll gate by soldiers, which led to casualties and the angry youths went on rampage in Lagos State destroying both public and private properties.

The list of buildings burnt down so far in Lagos as disclosed by the Police Public Relations Officer, SP Olumuyiwa Adejobi included:

1. Oriental Hotel.

2. Zenith Bank, Admiralty Way.

3. Lekki Toll Gate and Lekki Concession Company (LCC).

4. GTB on Admiralty Way.

5. Polaris Bank, Admiralty Way.

6. Over 30 buses belonging to Lagos State Government, BRT Company, and the BRT terminal at Oyingbo.

7. Governor of Lagos State, Sanwo-Olu’s family house.

8. Ajeromi Ifelodun LG Secretariat.

9. Cars within the premises of Ministry of the Environment Alausa, Lagos.

10. Television Continental (TVC), television station purportedly owned by Asiwaju Ahmed Tinubu (Former Governor of Lagos).

There have been reactions over the ugly incidents as some people believed that it was the best way for the youths to react in order to show their anger while some said it was wrong for the youths to have embarked on destruction of properties which will still bounce back on the public fund for them to be rebuilt.
