As ENPPI Football Club visit Al Mokawloon Football Club today (Saturday) in the Egyptian Premier League week 9 fixture, Nigeria-born ENPPI striker, Ebuka John Okoye is hopeful of securing victory for his club.
Ebuka expressed hope of not only scoring but winning the match.
The former Messiah FC of Lagos striker stated that winning the away fixture is a target, which he also shares with his other teammates, adding that winning the match will take them further up the log.
“We have prepared well for this match and hopefully our efforts will give us the maximum point at stake, which in the process take us further up the table,” Ebuka informed.
He revealed that the Helmey Toulan tutored side are focused on go all out for victory in order to close the gap at the submit of the table.
Ebuka, whose goals contributed to the promotion of MFM Football Club to the Nigeria Premier League few seasons years back, noted that scoring goals give him joy and as a striker that is his job.
According to him, the team’s victory is much more important to him than personal glory.
“I love scoring goals and I am always very happy when I scored because as a striker that is my job, but the most important thing for me is the team’s victory and the over all success of the club,” he said.
