The Executive Chairman of Epe Local Government in Lagos, Hon. (Princess) Surah O. Animashaun is set to commemorate the World Tourism Day with fan fare.
The event slated to hold on Monday 27 September 2021 at the Epe Marina is expected to draw dignitaries and investors from around Lagos and all over Nigeria to the Epe Division and will double as the official launch of the new visual identity for Epe Tourism, as well as some urban development initiatives and investment opportunities in the region.
With the global theme for this year tagged: ‘Tourism for Inclusive Growth’, Princess Animashaun has made known her intention to encourage and establish productive opportunities for income generation around tourism while ensuring that they are accessible and beneficial to everyone in the community.
Attendees will be taken on a mini-tour and familiarisation visits around the ancient city and will be regaled with special performances by the various cultural troupes in the community.
The aim is to put a spotlight on the sights and sounds of Epe Land and further promote its potential as the number one tourism destination in Nigeria.
