Former TVC News broadcast journalist and football agent Tobi Peters has successfully arranged a three-year deal for Falconets midfielder Janet Seimenya with the Portuguese club Benfica.

This transfer follows a previous attempt to transfer the Nigerian Under-20 talent to FC Barcelona in January, which was disrupted due to a severe ankle injury she suffered just before the deal could be finalized.

Utilizing his talent management agency, FCSM Global Services, Peters has revitalized Seimenya’s aspirations of playing in Europe by brokering the move to Benfica, further solidifying his reputation for advancing Nigerian football talent on a global scale.

Peters established FCSM Global Services in 2016 after his career in broadcasting and has cultivated a strong reputation in the fields of football talent management and athlete branding.

He has collaborated with notable football icons such as Rashidi Yekini, Peter Rufai, and Mutiu Adepoju, and has worked alongside prominent football agent John Ola Shittu, whose clients have included John Mikel Obi, Obafemi Martins, Joseph Yobo, and Chinedu Obasi.

He is also well-known for overseeing the commercial brand of six-time African Women’s Footballer of the Year Asisat Oshoala, successfully securing sponsorship agreements with major companies like Coca-Cola, DStv, Emzor Pharmaceuticals, United Bank for Africa (UBA), Amstel Malta, PayPorte, and the Lagos State Government.

Peters has also made significant progress by facilitating television commercial roles for various Super Falcons players, which has enhanced the commercial profile of Nigeria’s women’s national team.

Seimenya’s transfer to Benfica represents another achievement in Peters’ mission to create global opportunities for female footballers from Nigeria.
