Cross Riverians and the would be beneficiaries of the Governor Ben Ayade’s Thank You Free Medical Outreach have expressed excitement as they look forward to Monday 27th and Tuesday 28th May, 2019, when they will receive free medical attention.

The two days have been fixed for the free medical outreach that is planned and sponsored by Governor Ayade under the Ayadecare Home Health programme expected to take place at the Ayadecare Home Health Centre, 503 Old Odukpani Road, Ikot Ansa, Calabar.

The medical outreach programme will focus on treating all chronic diseases, provide free medical test and free medications, free consultations, free eye tests and free dental Examinations.

Expressing her excitement for the upcoming programme and looking forward to making maximum use of the governor’s gesture to check her health status, a 78-year old woman, Madam Nse Edem, said that the free medical outreach programme will provide her the opportunity to be checked medically without having to pay money as she does not have.

On her part, a 59-year old widow and mother of six children, Mrs. Nchalor Agading, is enthusiastic about the programme because she will be able to check her eyes and tooth at no cost and thanked Ayade in advance for the gesture that is meant to ensure that the downtrodden are attended to medically and for showing appreciation to them for voting for him in the last gubernatorial election in the state.

“I sincerely thank my Governor for remembering people of my class, like the poor, widows, the weak and aged and created an avenue for them to be attended to free in six key areas of health. It is my prayer that God continue to bless the Governor to provide for the poor, widows and aged” Agading asserted.

Also speaking and expressing great joy over the upcoming programme, Mr. Ibangha Akpan, maintained that Governor Ayade’s concern for the downtrodden is legendary and that he is not surprised that the Obudu born Governor is showing the people appreciation for voting him, adding that God will continue to reward the Governor for his humane style of governance focused on the poor, widows and the aged without discrimination.

“I am so pleased with the Cross River State Governor, Senator Prof. Ben Ayade, for his open-mindedness in dealing with the people irrespective of their state of origin while extending people’s oriented programmes to his people. I am from Akwa Ibom State, but I will be attended to equally as the indigenes of the state would be attended to without favouritism” Mr. Ibangha concluded.

In his reaction to the forth coming event, Mr. Adoga Adoga, said that Governor Ben Ayade is a huge blessing to the state in general and to those in the lower rung of economic ladder in particular, stressing that the governor’s medical outreach programme will focus to provide succour to those who have been suffering with their medical conditions in silence because they have no persons to turn to for help.

Adoga, therefore prayed that God Almighty should provide the Governor with enough resources to be able to continue to take care of the people of the state.
