Eze Alex Nwoye Showers Gifts On Ndigbo In Ejigbo As Council Marks End Of Year In Grand Style

The leader and Ezendigbo in Ejigbo LCDA, Eze Alex Nwoye, has demonstrated his generosity and love for Ndigbo by showering gifts on the residents as the Council marked the end of the year in grand style. 

 

P.M.EXPRESS reports that the event took place at the Palace of Eze Nwoye known as Obi Ndigbo, and was attended by many dignitaries from within and outside Ejigbo. The attendees witnessed the demonstration love and kindness by Eze Nwoye, who holds the chieftaincy title of Ochiri Ozua in Uga town, Anambra State.

 

Some of those in attendance included the amiable Ezendigbo in Mushin, Eze John Nwosu (Asiwaju Ndigbo), Igbo APC Chairman in Lagos State,  Chief Chris Ekwilo (Anya Ndigbo), Ichie Anselm Njoku, Chief Cyriacus Izuekwe (Ogene Ndigbo) under the chairmanship of Chief Dr Celestine Chukwunenye.

 

Also in attendance were Eze Nwoye’s Council members led by Onowu, Chief Odinaka Iwu, Chief (Mrs) Nelly Okafor,  Barr. Emeka Ukachi, who was the Chairman of the organizing committee of the event, Chief Friday Obi (Ugo Abata) and many others.

 

Members of the Igbo Speaking Community in Ejigbo led by Chief Innocent Njoku, Ohanaeze Ndigbo led by Chief Ikechukwu Aginam, market men and women, friends and wellwishers including families of Eze Alex Nwoye.

 

Speaking at the event, Eze Nwoye said that the event was organized by the Council of Obi Ndigbo to bring Ndigbo together to celebrate and thank God for His mercy and protection throughout the year and to ask Him to continue to protect Ndigbo and indeed people living in the State.

 

He advised Ndigbo to continue to support the Government both at the Local Government, State and the Federal level and to remain law abiding while eschewing any form of violence by continuing to live peacefully with the host communities in the State.

 

He also prayed to God for support and continued guidance for the leaders so that the suffering of the people will be minimized and those who will be traveling during the Christmas period will reach their various homes in peace.

 

The event started with the killing of the cow and entertainment with assorted dishes and drinks spiced up with different Igbo music and dance.

 

Some of the gifts showered by Eze Dr Alex Nwoye included bags of rice,  kitchen materials and cash gifts to the recipients who appreciated Eze Nwoye.
