Ndigbo Media Forum Worldwide has cautioned groups and individuals trying to cause trouble concerning the leader of Ndigbo a.k.a Ezendigbo, Lagos State, to desist from such because the position is not in dispute in the State.
P.M.EXPRESS reports that the group stated that the rightful Ezendigbo Lagos State is Eze Christian Uchechukwu Nwachukwu since nature has taken the Reverred Founder of Ndieze in diaspora,  Eze Hyacinth Ohazuruike (OON).
This was disclosed by the National Coordinator of Ndigbo Media Forum Worldwide, Rev.Paul Eze, in a press statement on 31st May, 2025, in Lagos State.
He noted that it was neccessary to make it clear on the heels of those planning to cause trouble in Lagos State by planning to declare themselves Ezendigbo in the State after the final burial of late Ohazuruike; that they should desist from doing so because it was a settled matter.
“Eze Nwachukwu’s authority as the Ezendigbo Lagos State has since been established and recognized, and he remains so. Any individuals who are inciting troubles concerning the office of Ezendigbo in the State should rethink and allow peace to reign among Ndigbo in Lagos State.”
Rev Eze stated that NMF has been emphasizing the importance of maintaining peace and stability within the  Local Government areas and the State. Therefore, inciting unrest only exacerbates tensions and creates unnecessary problems for Ndigbo in Lagos State.
“Let’s make it clear: the position of the rightful Onyeisi Ezendigbo Lagos is Eze Nwachukwu  since nature has taken Eze Ohazuruike. There is no doubt on this matter, and we urge all persons to respect this and avoid actions that will further destabilize Ndigbo unity and peace in Lagos State.”
“We Ndigbo value harmony and respect for tradition. We call on everyone involved to cease any provocative activities and work towards fostering peace and solidarity within us.” NMF stated.
The NMF In their communique promised to be part of the late Ezendigbo Lagos State burial arrangements. The group also extolled Eze Ohazulike for his efforts in establishing Ndieze in diaspora and his philanthropic gestures, stating that he had stamped his foots on the sands of our time and that history will never forget him.
The group also revealed their plans to be organizing postmortem annual lecture on behalf of late Ezendigbo Lagos to uphold what he stood for.
